Come join us as we make a bright and cheerful plaque to welcome spring. We will learn the techniques to make a Gerber Daisy using paper and punches, as well as making a ruffled ribbon border for the plaque. The plaque features one of the new papers by Basic Grey; Aloe from the Origins paper line. This project looks adorable hanging from a doorknob or anywhere else you choose to hang it.
Supplies each person needs to bring to class are:
Dry embossing tools or the Punch Bunch tool kit if you have one
Tweezers
Mousepad
Scissors
Quick dry liquid glue
Paper piercing tool
Tape runner or favorite adhesive
1/4" wide Tacky Tape/Red line tape - we will need about 20" in length
Diamond Glaze/Glossy Accents or similar
Small Xyron (if you have one)
The punches we will be using are ones that some of you may already have from prior classes. The daisy punches were from the first class where we made the Mums on the canvas. The oak leaf punch was from the Thanksgiving blocks class. The small sun punch was used to make the poinsettia in the metal frame class. The only punch we have not used before is the Medium Sun. I am giving you the entire list of the ones we will use for this class and if there are any you need to purchase, they will be 20% off through the day of your class.
