Classes for this weekend

A big hello to everyone from Paula Phillips!  I have two classes that I will be teaching this weekend (and next Tuesday night) and I wanted to pop in and give you all the details.  :)

This month for the Crazy Daisies class, I decided to use punches that have already been used in previous classes to give everyone a chance to catch up on purchasing punches that they may have missed. So there are no new punches for this class, but you can purchase any punches used in previous classes at a 20% discount through the day of the class - yippee!!!

For this month's project, I have used a basket that we will decorate with a Petunia (a new flower we will learn using the punch we used in the rose class), and periwinkles (the flowers we learned last month). We will be doing something different with the centers of the periwinkles this time and I have made the Petunia a bit more different than usual by using print papers from BoBunny's "Jazmyne" collection instead of cardstock. This project is a great for MayDay, Mother's Day, or anything with a Spring theme. Here is a photo of the project:

April Crazy Daisies Basket Class
Saturday, April 10th from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM or Tuesday, April 13th from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Cost $15

Supplies that you need to bring to class with you:
Punch Bunch Tool kit or dry embossing tools
Mousepad
Tweezers
Quick Dry Liquid Glue
Scissors

Punches we will use in this class (all have been used in previous classes):
27/Begionia Petals - Super Giant Theme Punch
30/Twig - Mega Punch
4/Birch Leaf - Large Punch
2/Violet - Medium Punch
1/Sun - Small Punch

I have a limited number of baskets, so be sure to contact Cherie here at Scrapper's Boutique to reserve your space today. 817-503-0777

I will also be teaching the Junior Scrapper's Club on Saturday, April 10th from 10:15AM to 12:15 PM.  Cost is $20.  This class is for ages 8 and up and we will be making two 2 page layouts.  On one 2 page layout, we will be making Spring Break pages, and the other will be Easter pages.  We still have room for more students, so give us a call and join us.  :)
Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing you!

~ Basic Soldering Class ~

Another soldering class has been scheduled and we hope you'll join us! Heather's next class will be on Saturday, April 17th, from 10am - 1pm.

This class will be a basic basic introductory class where you’ll learn the very basics of soldering (tools, supplies, and basic jewelry charm soldering) and get to try your hand at creating two charms.

All supplies for the workshop are provided – including art for your charms. However, you are welcome to bring any custom art that you would like to use. If you choose to do so, please make sure they are laser printed on plain (not photo or glossy) paper. Photo paper (matte and glossy) has a plastic coating on it which will melt under the heat of a soldering iron. You will need two images, one for the front and one for the back of each charm all sized to 1-1/2 "x1-1/2”.

The fee for this class is $50.
